Traditional Office Furniture
An office filled with traditional furniture lends a sense of elegant indulgence to the room. Even today, a large number of professionals prefer the traditional look over contemporary decor because of the calming effect it has on human emotions. Many doctors, lawyers, bankers, and financial planners decorate in the traditional style because it helps people feel immediately at ease when they enter the office.
Dark wood is typical of traditional office furniture. So are ornate carvings and classical motifs. Carved table legs, ball-and-claw feet, and intricate patterns are also characteristic of the traditional furniture style.
The traditional office furniture set pictured above was manufactured with dark hardwood veneer. The desk area curves elegantly around the seating area to create a spacious and uncluttered work surface for spreading paperwork. The stately aesthetic of the desk is magnified by the wall mounted bookshelf next to the window. Bookshelves like this are frequently used to store reference law, medical books, financial and banking literature, and reading material for clients.
The credenzas with attached hutches are used for file storage, reference books, and collectible display items. The conference table in the bottom right corner creates a common space where everyone can sit in a private setting to discuss policy, procedure, and business development goals.
