No Room to Grow? Start With What You Have

Growing companies often hit the same wall: you need more seats, but you don't want to move, build out, or sacrifice the spaces that have become part of your culture.

One of our clients in Cypress, Texas knew that feeling well. After more than 25 years in business, they had expanded to hundreds of employees and much larger facilities — but they made a point to keep their original home office location open and staffed. It was more than just a satellite office; it was where the company began. As their team grew, though, that space ran out of room. The only area with any potential was a traditional paneled conference room that had largely fallen out of regular use.

Cubiture came in, took detailed field measurements, and built a space plan around one straightforward goal: fit more people in comfortably, without touching the walls. The solution was converting the conference room into five 5′ x 5′ collaborative workstations with 53″ high panels. Five additional employees now have a functional, comfortable place to work — no construction, no relocation, no expansion required.

It's a good reminder that the right space plan can do a lot more than rearrange furniture. It can help a growing company stay rooted in the places that matter while still making room for what's ahead. If your office is feeling the squeeze, let's talk about what your current footprint could actually support.
