Cubiture is a family-owned and operated business that began in 1982 in a 10’ x 10’ bedroom in Katy, TX. Founder and President, Jerry Mogyorody, initially focused his business on high-density filing – providing customers with data storage solutions that were cutting edge for the time.
By 1999, the business had expanded to an office with a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Houston. Jerry astutely anticipated the decline of filing systems and began to heavily diversify into cubicles, and later, office furniture.
By 2008, the business grew to a new space with a 5,000 sq ft showroom, along with a woodshop and paint booths. Cubiture was now enmeshed in the remanufacturing of used cubicles, turning them into custom-designed systems to meet the needs of their customers at a fair price, while also responding to a more sustainable approach to office fixtures and furniture.
By 2014, with the need to expand again, the company increased its manufacturing space to 20,000 sq. ft and continued to grow.
In 2020, Cubiture made its most recent move to a brand new 40,000 sq. ft. facility where they operate manufacturing and the largest showroom in the company’s history. Here, customers find inspiration in the displayed products, and can also chat directly with a design expert about specific needs.
Additionally, the company made a commitment to digital in 2021, by relaunching their website to simplify the customer’s online experience, providing guidance and product examples to assist with their project planning.
